Maryland Psychiatric Research is holding its 3rd annual Art Exhibition and Auction on May 18th from 9am-5pm at Rice Auditorium. MPRC is part of the University of Maryland, Baltimore and located on Spring Grove Hospital Campus. MPRC focuses on treatment research for people with severe mental illness. The exhibit showcases the creativity of people with lived experience, mental health professionals and members of the local community. Select items displayed at the exhibit will be up for auction online (https://app.charityauctionstoday.com/auctions/maryland-psychiatric-research-center-namiwalks-maryland-charity-auction-2024-41619). All proceeds from the auction benefit the Maryland chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and its efforts to stop the stigma of mental illness. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event. We are also seeking contributors to the exhibit until May 10th.
