Join us Sunday, Nov 13th at 3pm for an afternoon of Beethoven and Rachmaninov featuring the gifted concert pianist, Ching-Yi Lin!
Bishop Cummins RE Church is excited to host this talented, international concert pianist. Mr. Lin will be playing Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111 and Rachmaninov's Moment Musicaux Op 16.
Originally from Taiwan, Lin has won competitions in Taipei, Texas, and Washington D.C. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Peabody Institute as a recipient of the Richard Franko Goldman Prize in Performance under the tutelage of Alexander Shtarkman.
A vivid music educator, Ching-Yi has been appointed as a faculty associate at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. He joined the piano faculty of Levine Music and the Kirov International Music Festival at Washington D. C. in 2021.
