Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Our motto is "Service above Self". Rotary is a secular organization that is open to all persons regardless of race,color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. Each club conducts various service projects within its local community and awards grants to local non-profits that fit the six categories of The Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Club of Catonsville's signature project for many years has been providing a pizza party for the guests of the Westside Men's Emergency Shelter on the grounds of Spring Grove Hospital Center.
