The Maintenance Facilities Assistant is responsible for maintaining, repairing, cleaning and sanitizing the physical plant, buildings and all TCH equipment to ensure safety and health of all TCH residents and staff. He/she is also responsible for maintaining a safe environment.

Clean and sanitize all assigned areas in accordance with general cleaning principles, TCH housekeeping procedures, and TCH infection control policy/procedures.

Maintain an adequate inventory of all cleaning supplies and ensures they are available.

Orders supplies as needed.

Maintain all cleaning equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Adhere to all TCH financial guidelines.

Conducts preventative maintenance procedures on all TCH equipment and facilities.

Document all maintenance in a timely and systematic manner and reports problems to the supervisor.

Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties (lawn care, building and grounds maintenance)

Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other duties.

Sweep walkways of debris.

Install and maintenance of furniture and equipment

Clean kitchen appliances and equipment

Stock kitchen supplies


One year of facilities management and maintenance experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License
